Ilhabela Project reaches 38 Year

CELAFISCS has organized since 1978 the Mixed-Longitudinal Ilhabela Project, when it was evaluated the growth, development, physical activity and fitness in students from that island.

The study is one of the longest in the world, and on November 3-5th reached its seventieth evaluation, completing 38 years of existence.

The results has offer material to master and doctoral thesis, publications in international referee journals, as well as several free communication presented in Congresses in Brazil and in worldwide.
