EVERY STEP COUNTS
In the new recommendations made by the CDC (Abby King et al) there is strong evidence that physical activity need not be performed in 10 minute sessions to have a positive impact on health; as evidence confirms the positive effect of mild-intensity physical activity on the risk of death from all causes, cardiovascular death and various comorbidities, such as type 2 diabetes.
Based on this information CELAFISCS launched a new Agita São Paulo campaign, with the name: "Every Step Counts!"
Three slogans will be worked on in the campaign:
- Every Step Counts against Sedentarism
- Every Step Counts, for the Promotion of Health
- Improve Your Health: Every Step Counts!
The new campaign was officially presented at the opening of the International Symposium on October 4 at the Rebouças Convention Center.
